An Angel Is Coming Soon...

I am pregnant with my fourth child :) So i guess you'll be reading more posts regarding my new angel... about the products i am going to use for my baby. The do's and dont's and whatsoever.

Okay, i know this happened a long time ago but i'm going to share you guys about my pregnancy with my third child. So i found out that i was pregnant with my third child when i was already 5 months. Why? Because i had PCOS before and we weren't really expecting a third child since we didn't plan on having one at that time so my third child was an accident but hey! No regrets at all! FYI, the age gap between my second child and third child is 7 years.

So i thought at that time i had myoma coz  my tummy was getting bigger and i didn't gain weight. So i went to my OB and i told him that i might have myoma. He said: are you sure you're not pregnant. I said: but i have PCOS it's hard to conceive when you have one. So he checked my tummy if there's a heart beat and he didn't hear any heart beat using the stethoscope. Then he used the Doppler fetal and again, no sign of heart beat. He suggested an ultrasound so i did it right away. While doing the ultrasound, my OB  smiled and he even made a joke. being my OB since my first child, we're pretty close and making jokes are okay. He said, "oh, yung myoma mo boy" Then i was like what?! Haha it turned out that i was pregnant! And kita agad ung gender haha! So i called my husband right away and he was happy. We were all happy and excited.

By the way, i had C-section and it was my first time. I had a normal delivery with my first and second child. So it felt like i gave birth for the first time. My fluid wasn't enough  so i can't wait any longer for my due date to come so at that time i need to undergo cesarean section delivery for my third child. I'm telling you this ladies that when we're getting old, the pregnancy becomes difficult.

Well regarding my pregnancy right now, i am having difficulties. So i told my husband that i need to undergo ligation after i give birth to our fourth child. I don't think i can have a 5th child anymore coz as I've said, pregnancy becomes really difficult as we get older. And besides having four children is enough. Just so you know, I just wanna have two children a boy and a girl but hubby wants four. Well, his dream came true. :)

I'm happy having all of my children. They're all blessings to me and my husband. As I've said, no regrets, as in no regrets at all!

The New Safeguard Soap

I've been having zits on my chin and small, tiny pustules appeared on my forehead and it's really irritating to look at. I don't use any kind of cream coz my face is really, really sensitive and believe me, i tried any one of them cream, and nothing worked! It just made my face worst! So, I only use soap to cure my breakouts. My soap is Dove and still using it until now as a moisturizer, It doesn't cure pimples. Likas was my soap to cure my pimples before, it worked actually but since it made my skin so dry, i stopped using it. And there's this soap that i used for half a year and didn't give me any problem not until last month. It's called orange peel soap that i bought from my daughter's doctor. I dunno what the hell happened, It used to work on my face. Oh well!

So i gotta change my soap again and while i was browsing on facebook, i saw that Safeguard released a new line of soap called Safeguard Derma Sense. Since Safeguard is proven and tested over the years and of course that's what mostly everyone use, and i am too. i use it to wash my body aside from dove. Yup, just my body, i never tried using it on my face coz i grew up knowing that it's for the body only! haha. Crazy i know!

So i gotta try this Safeguard Derma Sense for Acne Prone Skin. Been using it for a week and it's amazing! It didn't gimme any breakouts. One pimple appeared but when i woke up in the morning i noticed that it dried out and those small, tiny pustules totally disappeared on my forehead.! Amazing! Yey for soap users like me! But i'm still observing it coz it's only been a week so lets just wait and see if it's yay or nay.

There are many variants to choose from like Face & Body Wash, Facial Cleanser and Soap. You can also choose - for Sensitive Skin and for Acne Prone Skin. My skin is sensitive but since i am having breakouts, i chose for Acne Prone Skin. Maybe soon, i'ma try the other one but for now i'ma stick to Acne Prone Skin first. Btw, i also chose soap since i'm a soap user for years now.

Kangen Water (Alkaline Water)

Hi everyone! Btw, it's nice to be back! Sorry for the loong period of not blogging. It's been 5 months since i last blogged. Anyway, now that i'm back, i want to introduce the Kangen Water. I just installed it last night and it was easy. Didn't have a hard time at all. This product is from Enagic and the machine is called Leveluk SD501 it's really pricey, it's worth US$3,980 and according to them is the no.1 best seller. I could tell, it's really amazing! It produces 5 types of water and believe me, i tried 'em all. hehe. It produces Kangen Water, Clean Water, Acidic (Beauty Water), Strong Kangen Water and Strong Acidic Water. Of course i'm loving the beauty water. Every time i splash it on my face, it refreshes me. It actually feels good and  wait til you see and taste the water. Oh man! It is so clear and clean! It is the cleanest water I've ever seen so far. Though cleaning method will take you 5 hours and 30 mins. The waiting hour sucks. Because after you installed the CPU, you have to wait 3-5 hours for it to clean by itself. Yup, it cleans itself! you will just install the CPU but first you have to put the cleaning powder in it. and voila, it will clean by itself! Amazing! Ikr.

There are different types of drinking water in this machine. Drink 1 has 9.5 ph, Drink 2 has 9.0 ph and Drink 3 has 8.5 ph. They said that if you're a beginner, you have to start with drink 3 before you can drink others. There's also Medication Water you can drink this too. Beauty Water is not for drinking, and also the Strong acid. Strong Acid is for sanitary purposes. It's also good for those with skin infections. Like my daughter, who is battling Psoriasis since she was 4. It's also good for cleaning the house esp the kitchen :)

Btw, it indicates by voice, buzzer and LCD.

The Ultimate Home Use Model

The SD501 is the finest machine in its class, with the highest quality built-in electrolysis chamber on the market. This Kangen Water® filtration machine generates a continuous stream of 5 types of water for countless household needs. You can easily operate the SD501 thanks to a large LCD panel and clear voice prompts. When you need enough delicious, healthy alkaline water to hydrate your whole family, the SD501 is the product you've been searching for!

MHACK (Marivic, Hanee, ANna, Christine and Karen)

I finally got to see my other high school friends! Christine made it possible :) She just went home from California after 10 years! So it means, reunion na! We met at Concho's (Kean Cipriano's bar). It is located at Lilac St. SSS Village in Marikina. It was featured at Rated K and Kris Tv. It's a petty bar but very cozy. It's a nice place to have some lunch, dinner and even drink with your buddies and it's very affordable too! Their best seller is the Crispy Pata according to my friend Anna so she ordered it and yeah, it was crispy and delicious. The bar is quiet, no loud music which sometimes annoys me. The best part is, there's a smoking area. Hooray for non-smoker like me! haha

We all had fun! Sad to say Karen left early coz she was flying to Malaysia in the morning. Chickahan was non stop. Bringing back the memories way back was fun. Especially all the adventures. We mostly talked about ex boyfriends. Haha. Dami kasi nila naging boyfriend. hahaha

I arrived there late, like around 7:40 pm and went home at around 11 pm. It was a short meeting but super fun! Nakaka miss talaga sila!

Therese's Swimming Party

Hello there! It's been a while, i know! :D Last March 14, my niece celebrated her birthday at Antipolo. My brother rented a private resort there named Angela Resort 3. The place is really nice. The rent costs Php7,000 with 2 air-conditioned rooms. Each room has 2 queen size beds. The resort was clean and clear but the water was freaking cold! There are 2 pools (for kids and adults) and a Jacuzzi at the side. There's a videoke too. The pool's surrounded by a floor which has a water that's up to ankle. So Vinno enjoyed it that much. He didn't swim in the big pool, he just stayed at the side of the pool and played there. The rest of the kids enjoyed both the pools. As for me, I just tried it once and never tried it again. I showered after my first dip in the pool. By the way, the biggest pool is up to 6 ft deep.

We arrived there like 8 am ish and left at 6 pm.

Eye Shadow 101 :)

Ever wonder if you can use eye shadow in a different way other than your eyes? Well you can! You can make a colored nail polish by using these...

Tools needed:
1. clear nail polish
2. eye shadow (desired color)
3. funnel (you can use a rolled paper and make sure it will fit the hole of your nail polish bottle)

First you need to use the funnel and make sure it perfectly fit the hole of your nail polish bottle then scrape off some eye shadow into the funnel.  Since the nail polish bottle is clear, you can check if the color is okay. You can put as many scraped eye shadow if you want to have nice colored nail polish. By the way, i used a powdered eye shadow so no need for me to do the scraping thing :) I just put it straight into the funnel then i mixed it all up. Make sure the lid is closed coz you really need to shake the bottle real hard. Then voila! Instant desired colored nail polish!

I used the golden brown and dark gray eye shadow.

By the way, i used my son's nails as my model coz i currently have a polished nail. Good thing he said yes. haha But removed it immediately after i took the pic. Loving my new colored nail polish!

Feeling Makeup Artist :P

Oh my! I haven't blogged for 2 weeks! Been very, very busy watching TV Series! haha. last Saturday (Valentine's Day) my husband's cousin asked me if i can do her hair and make-up for her senior night coz she doesn't wanna spend money and was too lazy to go to the salon and there's no nearby salon in our place. And since i wasn't busy at that time, i said yes! What was i thinking?! I don't even know how to put make-up and i said yes? Good thing there's YouTube and my mom-in-law left her make-up kit to my daughter! So i rushed to the computer and watched some tutorials on how to apply make-up. I even asked my daughter if she can be my model, so i can practice on her. She said yes luckily! I am really not into make-ups coz i don't put make-up on my face and maybe because i don't know how. But when i started watching some tutorials, i didn't expect that applying make-up would be that fun! Well, applying it to other people not to myself. FYI, i know how to put lipstick on :)

So after watching like 5-6 tutorials, it was time for me to start her hair and make-up. I started fixing her hair. I used my flat iron to curl her hair. Yup, i know how to curl a hair using flat ceramics iron. I curled her hair for like an hour coz her hair is really thick. I sectioned her hair first. I took about half inch of her hair so it will curl up easily. After i'm done with her hair, it's time to apply make-up! Since there was no liquid foundation, i used concealer instead. So i put concealer all over her face. She really has a smooth face, no blemishes so i didn't know if the concealer i used can really cover up blemishes. By the way, the brand of the concealer is Avon. After that, i started applying eye shadow. I did the smokey eyes thingy but i aint sure if i did justice on that. hehe. I used purple, white and gray eye shadows from StageLight. Then i put some Maybelline face powder using a brush on her face then i applied cheek tint on her cheekbones. There's no blush on and i only have cheek tint which was given to me just last week by my sweet sister. It's Ever Bilena cheek tint. On her lips, i used a pink lipstick which was a gift to me last year on my birthday. The brand is Ever Bilena too. I put mascara on her eye lashes and the brand is Maybelline. I didn't put eye liner on her eye lids coz she didn't want to and coz i was too scared of hurting her eyes. I also didn't curl her lashes coz i might hurt her.

Here's the picture of my husband's cousin. By the way, her gown looked good on her. She was wearing high heels like 3 inches long so i suggested to just wear socks so it won't hurt her feet since she's wearing a long gown, peeps won't recognize it. :)

Fell free to criticize my make-up techniques haha. It was my first time. Seriously!

I am scheduled to do my sister's hair and make-up for her masquerade ball on March 7, 2015 ;)

Fallen 44

OMG! Haven't blogged for how many days now? Sorry been very busy lately. What's keeping me busy? Oh, i'm busy watching TV Series. I'm hooked with these TV Series so far: Penny Dreadful S1, Z Nation S1, The Flash S1 and Home Land S1, S2, S3 and S4. There are so many TV Series to watch for!! Next is Sleepy Hollow, Arrow and Game of Thrones! :)

By the way, It's National Day of Mourning. My heart goes out to their souls, friends and families. Thank you for protecting our country! They are our New Heroes! Lets not forget that, ever! Salute!

These are the names and faces of the Philippine National Police-Special Action Force's fallen heroes. They were killed in Mamasapano town in Maguindanao last Sunday during a clash with Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) members and Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF). The elite cops' mission was to serve arrest warrants to two suspected terrorists—Malaysian Jemaah Islamiyah leader Zulkifli bin Hir also known as Marwan and Filipino bomb maker Abdulbasit Usman.

Let us all pray for them. RIP. We salute you! #Fallen44 #NationalDayOfMourning #Respect #Gratitude #Justice

A Day Filled With Fun

January 11, 2015, Sunday was my eldest son's field trip. Assembly time was 5:00 am and the bus was supposed to leave at 5:30 am. We got there a little late like around 5:40 am. The bus left at 5:50 am and there were two students with 2 companions that were left behind coz they didn't come on time. I just hope there's a refund. The fee is Php1,000 per head. We paid Php3,000 (Vivo, Me and Mazie) Vinno was free of charge.

We first went to Gardenia Factory, we arrived there at around 7:00 am. We watched the process of how they make the bread. Machines do all the works. Amazing!

Gardenia uses the traditional American Sponge and Dough bread-making method to bake you that soft-textured loaf with a tender crust and distinct taste. This unique method ensures that Gardenia's bread stays fresh longer and tastes so good you can even eat it on its own.

Step 1: Automatic blending
The production process begins with a computerized blending of the exact amount of quality ingredients needed. This helps to ensure equal goodness in every loaf.

Step 2: Production of sponge mix
The specially formulated Gardenia enriched flour, purified water, yeast, vitamins and minerals are added together to form the sponge which is released into a trough.

Step 3: Fermentation room
The sponge dough is then kept in a fermentation room, under controlled temperature and humidity for four hours, so that carbon dioxide is released, and the sponge can rise. This fermentation process helps the sponge to develop a unique Gardenia bread texture, aroma and taste.

Step 4: Production of dough mix

At this stage, the sponge is mixed again with other ingredients to form the dough. Depending on the type of bread to be baked, these can include skimmed milk powder, vegetable shortening, wheatgerm, bran, malt or honey.

Step 5: Divider
The dough is then divided into the required weight for each loaf and conveyed to rounder.

Step 6: Rounder
At the rounder, each piece of dough is kneaded so that carbon dioxide is trapped and the bread can develop soft texture when it is baked.

Step 7: Checkweigher
The dough piece then go through the checkweigher. Here, piece that are over or under the required weight are automatically rejected.

Step 8: Intermediate proofer
the dough is then left to rest in the intermediate proofer for 10 minutes before being moulded and placed into the baking pan.

Step 9: Moulder
Here, the dough is shaped according to the desired configuration and then automatically placed into the pan.

Step 10: Automatic lidder
The pan are lidded automatically to give the bred it uniform rectangular shape.

Step 11: Final proofer
At this final proofer stage, the yest is allowed to rise further under controlled temperature nd humidity.Once the dough has risen to the desired height, it is finally ready for baking.

Step 12: Tunnel oven
Here, Gardenia bread are baked for about 20 minute at a temperature of approximately 200 degree Celsius in the state-of-the-art tunnel oven.

Step 13: Automatic delidder and depnner
Hot from the oven, the freshly baked loaves are then removed by vacuum suction before being conveyed to a bread cooler.

Step 14: Bred cooler
This bread cooler can holdup to 8000 loaves of bread per hour. The freshly baked and hot bread loaves need to be kept in the cooler for about an hour until  slightly above room temperature before it is ready for packing.

Step 15: Automatic slicer and bagger
when the loaves are sufficiently cooled, it is then ready to be sliced, wrapped and made convenient for consumption in attractive Gardenia.

Step 16: Daily delivery
In the early hour of the morning when most people are still asleep at about 3am, Gardenia begins preparation for its daily deliveries, 364 days a year. The freshly baked bread are tacked into the Gardenia's fleet of delivery trucks seven days a week, come rain or shine and delivered to some 3000 retail outlets throughout Singapore.

After that, we went to the private resort which is 15 minutes away from Gardenia Factory. There we had our breakfast, lunch and snack. The water was really warm and the place is really nice and cozy. The kids enjoyed swimming. Too bad i had my period at that time so i wasn't able to swim. I took a nap since there are air-conditioned rooms available.

We left the private resort at around 3:50 pm and arrived my son's school at around 5:20 pm. Finally got home safely at around 6:00 pm. We really had so much fun! This won't be the last. It was truly a fascinating trip!

Kids fell fast asleep. They must be really tired. By the way, Vinno didn't give me a hard time during the entire trip. He was so behave! Thank heavens!

Feeling Excited

Hello there! i'm back! :) Haven't blogged for 4 days. Just been very busy lately with household chores, movie marathon haha and reviewing my daughter for her exam this January 20, 2015. It's better to prepare her in advance. Anyway, on January 11, it's my eldest son's field trip, we're all coming and we're all excited!! We're going to Laguna by the way. I just hope Vinno will not give me a hard time during our trip. It's a long trip i know. So i expect him to be in his best behavior :) So mommies, any suggestions on how to keep Vinno well behave during out trip? Maybe keeping him busy with the Ipad will do. So i need to download all his favorite cartoons and i might also bring his favorite toys to keep him occupied.

By the way, have you watched the movie "The Count Of Monte Cristo"? It was aired year 2002 and i really liked it. It is expedient that you watch this movie :)

I just watched all Chris Evans' Movies. I love him to bits! He's my second ultimate crush in Hollywood! What about you? Who's your ultimate crush in Hollywood?

Why so hot?

Vinno's Fond Of Minions

My youngest son always watches Despicable me 1 and 2. He loves minions! So i decided to make him Minion Paper Dolls. I searched online for printable Minion Paper Dolls and i got so lucky!! It's very easy to make. You just need scissors, double tape, scotch tape, glue and hard paper. I didn't follow the instructions though. I used double tape and scotch tape to stick the edges to make it last long. Vinno's the one who's gonna play with it so i have to make sure it won't easily break.

By the way, here's the link for the Minion Paper Dolls - http://tyumenb.deviantart.com/art/minion0eyeV2-386319379

Have fun!

Tools needed. You should glue the printed paper to a harder one like this box from bear brand to make it sturdy.

The finished product! Aren't they the cutest?

Short Hair Don't Care

Okay. I rebonded and dyed my hair last Dec 26 and rebonded it again after 3 days coz i missed some spots and it made my hair really dry and damage at the front. I was about to grow my hair long and this happened. So i decided to cut it short and have a short hair again. I think I've been having short hair since 2011 after i gave birth to Vinno. Now, i am thinking of cutting it really short like a pixie hair cut. I can still see the dried and damaged hair and i really can't stand it. Di ako mapakali, seriously! But pixie hair is way too short and i guess it won't suit me. Oh well! Argh! I guess i have to rest my hair to any chemicals. I am currently using Keratin Hair Reconstructor Cream and it helps a little. My hair is not straight, it's wavy. That's why Vinno got wavy hair, he inherited that on me :)

I started straightening my hair since High School. Imagine that? Before it was "Relax" Then "Rebond". What's the difference between the two? Relax is way too strong. The chemical is too strong that's why it hurts your scalp and skin once the chemical touched it. It takes an hour before you can rinse it. No need to iron hair afterwards. Just conditioner and you're all set. It lasts for 6 months on wards. Rebond, there are 3 steps. First, the straightening cream, then neutralizing cream and last is the conditioning cream. You will apply first the straightening cream of course, make sure to fully cover all your hair, it's much easier if you layer your hair, then you'll leave it on your hair for like 25 mins or longer, depending on your hair quality. Rinse it off with clean water , towel it and blow dry until it's 80% dry. Iron hair and make sure to section hair thinly. After that, apply the neutralizing cream, make sure all your hair are covered, do it layer by layer to make it easier, leave it on for 15- 20 mins, then rinse with clean water. Lastly, the conditioning cream. Spread gently on the hair and leave it on for 5 - 10 mins, let the hair completely absorb the nourishment, towel dry and blow dry if desire.

I used Hair Milk Rebonding with Amino Acids. It's gentle on the scalp and skin. I also did my own haircut. Hubby was dumbfounded coz it was really straight at the back, seriously! So me naman, i'm kinda proud of myself haha! Why did i do my own haircut? Simply because i don't trust Salons anymore. The last time i had my haircut at a Salon, they cut it really short, as in! I can see my nape and it didn't look good! I said cut just one inch of my hair but he cut longer than that. Well maybe it depends on the Salon, but that Salon that did my hair before was expensive and known. Anyway, i did my own haircut, so what? At least it looks good and straight and i'm satisfied.

In this photo, i didn't wet my hair for 2 days so the natural oil of my hair came out. I love this look :)

In this photo, i just used shampoo and i'm regretting it. I should have used Keratin afterwards. My frizzy, dried and damaged hair is so obvious. Lesson learned, i know! :D

This photo was taken just a while ago. I just used Keratin, no shampoo or whatsoever. Took a small portion of my hair in front from both sides and tied it at my back. My hair in front is voluminous, so i  need to lessen some hair.

By the way, the color of my hair is Mahogany :)

NYE 2015
